It's been a little while since I've posted any of my eBird maps so here's a freshly updated one:
OpenHeatMap.com is a pretty sweet tool for mapping these kinds of things. If you're interested in giving it a try, here's how:
1) Click "My eBird".
2) Down under "Your lists", click "County".
3) Copy-and-paste all those into an Excel spreadsheet.
4) Visit www.openheatmap.com.
5) Choose your file and you're off and running.
You can choose your own color schemes, borders, etc.
